Mel B has opened up about seeking help to treat the symptoms of her PTSD.

The star is said to turn to alcohol abuse and excessive sex to quell her condition.

In one instance, a source says the “sex-crazed” star slept with as many as three different men in the same day, after her breakup with Stephen Belafonte.

The past few months have been very difficult for the celeb, but she is ready to work through her trauma.

“I’ve been working with a writer on my book, Brutally Honest,

and it has been unbelievably traumatic reliving an emotionally abusive relationship and confronting so many massive issues in my life.”

“I am being very honest about drinking to numb my pain but that is just a way a lot of people mask what is really going on.”

The source of her excessively indulgent behavior will be the key to her recovery.

“Sometimes it is too hard to cope with all the emotions I feel.

But the problem has never been about sex or alcohol — it is underneath all that.”

The former Spice Girl will be admitted into a facility soon after she finishes filming as a judge on America’s Got Talent next month.

“I have made the decision to go into a proper therapy programme in the next few weeks,

but it has to be in the UK because I am very, very British and I know that will work best for me.“

Mel B has endured a vicious divorce battle with her ex-lover Stephen Belafonte for over a year.

Court documents state that the relationship was physically and emotionally abusive.
