Kanye West’s visit to Africa has birth a lot of controversy.
From meeting with the Ugandan president which Bobi Wine openly condemned to Kanye spoke out against mind control.
However, in the wake of all the drama, Kanye over stepped his bounderies after comparing himself to the late Fela Kuti.
Yeezy stroke the wrong chord following a comment he made in a clip he recorded of himself.
He essentially stated that he channels great musicians from the astral plane when he records.
“The music is the best on the planet.
I am the best living recording artist.
We, rather, because the spirits flow through me.
The spirit of Fela, the spirit of Marley, the spirit of Pac.”
This comments got the attention of one pf Fela’s Son Seun Kuti, who doesn’t think Kanye his worthy to mention his fathers name.
Seun Kuti reposted this specific part of the rapper’s video and sent a message.
“Erm erm on behalf of the Kuti family, I want to state that the spirit of Olufela Anikulapo Kuti isn’t anywhere near Kanye West.”
