Cardi B and Nicki Minaj’s show down at the fashion week has been the subject of discussion since it happened
Since then, Cardi B and Nicki Minaj have taken subtle jabs at each other.
However, many have spoken about the dramatic events, either choosing a side or wishing it didn’t happen altogether.
Naomi Campbell happens to be of the opinion that women shouldn’t drag each other in the mud.
The supermodel spoke about the whole saga during her interview with Andy Cohen.
The host prompted her to speak on the attack as a first-hand bystander, which Naomi cleared up quickly.
Andy believed that Campbell was at the same event and witnessed it unfold before her very eyes.
However, Naomi cut in, saying it was called the “Icon Party,” “but there were no icons there.”
She reveals that she was “disappointed” by the shoe-throwing instance, saying that she would prefer if the two would keep things cordial.
“I don’t want to see women of color fight.
I don’t want to see women fight period,”
She clarified her stance by making a very good point, saying that the focus should be on their music:
“There’s no division in music, and music is for everybody.
There’s no discrimination, so I felt very disappointed.”
Many were upset by the actions taken at the NYFW event, as well as by the way the superstars reacted afterwards.
