Nigerian filmmaker Faraday Okoro release trailer for his debut feature Nigerian Prince
Meanwhile, the film will feature in the U.S. theaters and On-Demand following it acquisition by Vertical Entertainment.
In an interview with OkayAfrica, Okoro revealed some facts about the film.
“It involves a lot of stuff that first-generation, and Nigerians living in Nigeria are accustomed to.
Things that we speak about among ourselves,”
“It’s a story that’s more holistic than just trying to show dirty laundry.”
Meanwhile, Nigerian Prince stars Antonio J. Bell, Chinaza Uche and Tina Mba, with Spike Lee and Biyi Bandele as its executive producers.
Oscar Hernandez and Bose Oshin produced the film.
However, Okoro is credited as the director, producer and screenwriter of Nigerian Prince, with Andrew Long as his co-screenwriter.
Nigerian Prince will be released in select U.S. theaters and will be available On-Demand on October 19.
