Nigeria has become the biggest joke in the world and the President Buhari is the topic, how did we become such overnight? It is amazing and disgracing. This is a moment for us to evaluate ourselves as a nation. The once prospective world power has become a laughing stock, even Nostradamus didn’t see this coming. The puppeteers are good at their game and the zombies can’t be curtailed any longer. And even those that claim to have attained wisdom from God have lost contact with the frequency of reasoning. What have we become overnight, a people that can be manipulated easily by our hate?
Some people don’t even know the difference in theory between Jubril and the clone. Jubril is a substitute from Sudan but there is no basis for. Just a mere say by some people, where is a picture of Jubril in Sudan or his family? If it is a clone in the presidential palace, who contracted for a clone, how much could it have cost, which organization took out the job?
Wait, chill. So you telling Aisha, the first lady is feeling all cozy with a clone or a substitute from Sudan and doesn’t know it. His children haven’t noticed anything strange about their father and the president’s aide are taking orders. Do we know what we are saying at all?
It isn’t our fault either. When was the last time there was a presidential media chat? How often does the president address the people of the country on national issues and the challenges that his administration is facing? There is no form of chemistry at all between the people and her president. What a shame!
I get it, many had concluded that President Buhari couldn’t have completed his first term. We find it difficult to believe the ailing man could be made whole again. Of course, it isn’t our fault. Look around, our health-care system is in shambles. People don’t usually survive death threatening sicknesses in this part of the world. I blame the government for all of that. It is a lot about the dilapidated health care system of Nigeria that if one should reveal to an average Nigerian, they would be shocked.
Whoever pulled this Jubril of Sudan or clone talk about Buhari is an expert Nigerian social engineer. We are gullible, the suffering has affected our thinking. Our brains now do the most darn thing. Notwithstanding, I get it. This is a manifestation of bad governance over the years. Since the start of this democracy, the nation is yet to experience development. Don’t be deceived, we can achieve significant transformation in 4 years.
The impact of the military era still lingers. We don’t even know that power belongs to the people that we unconsciously give power to our oppressors. Perhaps we should ask why politicians start to engage with the people on the street and money is shared when the elections are approaching. Prayers do not change a nation, power does and power belongs to the people. When we couldn’t pray the sickness out, the miracle was manifested in the hospital ward in Europe and we can’t fathom it. It is simply good heath care system.
My point is every kind of miracle we expect can be manifested by work. We aren’t action-oriented and await the host of heavens to get the job done for us. Even those who shout ‘Able-God’ know how to get to work. How have nations that are developed which weren’t up to our standards in the ’60s and ’70s attained such height? How often do they pray and how much sacrifice have they made and work put in place? We lack common sense and political understanding. We are waiting on God and He is chilling on us too.
If we really want to fight a system or an administration, stop fooling around fighting someone else’s fight. Fight your fight alongside people whose interest align with yours. Stop making people think for you and tell you how things are, we need to start thinking. And for those presenting a comparison of President Buhari pictures and the others, playing the game of spotting the difference. C’mon, bring something concrete to the table. Nigerians have become a tool for politicians to get power, for how long shall we be used? We are the pawns of the power struggle.
The reason why we think power is either a PDP/APC affair. We don’t know how to get hold of our councilors, chairmen and governors. Our legislators are having it scoot-free and unperturbed of their vital role and sacrifice to make in the nation’s development. Isn’t it high-time we tried someone new? We are busy choking the president, forgetting to address issues in our immediate environment which is the responsibility of a public servant that isn’t far-fetched. We have left out thinking for our faulty leaders who can’t decipher anything or sharpen their sense of reasoning. We are waiting forever for the ‘men of God’ to convince God to do the job for us. We value people for their wealth and how well they can oppress. We crave for an imagery haven.
We are a jonzing people, we are mad. We are zombies in dire need of political education and constructive reasoning. We are somewhat clones, ourselves. So much ado for presidential absentia and incommunicado.
